1. Purpose and Scope
This Content Monitoring Policy (“Policy”) describes the tools, systems, and processes implemented by EMOTIQ SOCIAL LABS LTD (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operator of the Soul-meet.io platform at soul-meet.io (the “Platform”), to monitor, review, and control content across all areas of the Platform.
The Platform is accessible via web browser only. This Policy applies to: (a) all publicly accessible content published on the Platform; and (b) private AI-assisted conversations conducted between users and the Platform’s AI companion service, including all images, videos, voice messages and interactive video scenes (“Scenes”) made available to users within the Platform.
This Policy should be read in conjunction with the Soul-meet.io Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Publicly Published Content
2.1 Publisher Restrictions
The Company does not permit public publishing of content by users on its website or platform. All publicly available content, including website pages, marketing materials, AI companion profiles and associated images and videos, knowledge base articles, and platform documentation, is created and published exclusively by authorized Company personnel. Users cannot upload external photos, images or videos to the Platform, and no user-generated visual content is displayed publicly.
2.2 Pre-Publication Review Process
Prior to publication, all content, including every image, video, voice message and Scene added to the content library described in Section 3.1, undergoes an internal review process to verify compliance with:
Applicable laws and regulations;
Payment network requirements;
Consumer protection standards;
The Company’s Terms of Service, including the prohibited content categories set out in Section 4.3 of the Terms of Service;
Confirmation that each item is AI-generated, depicts only fictional characters and does not depict or resemble any real person;
Confirmation that every character depicted appears unambiguously to be an adult aged 18 or over, and that the content does not depict or suggest minors, non-consensual activity, bestiality or incest.
Only authorized team members hold publishing permissions. Content changes are subject to internal approval procedures and periodic compliance reviews.
3. Private AI-Assisted Conversations
3.1 Nature of User Interactions
The Platform provides users with private AI-assisted conversations accessible via web browser only. Users cannot upload external photos, images, videos, or files to the Platform, and the Platform does not provide functionality for users to generate novel visual content in real time. During conversations, the Platform may present users with images and videos selected from a pre-approved content library associated with the relevant AI persona, matched to conversational context or to a user’s request. Users may also access Scenes — short pre-produced video scenes associated with an AI persona, some of which may require Tokens. All images, videos, voice messages and Scenes in this library are created and reviewed in advance by authorized Company personnel in accordance with Section 2 of this Policy; no image or video is synthesized dynamically from a user's input. AI text responses are generated in real time and are subject to the automated controls described in Section 3.2. Voice messages delivered by AI personas (such as the welcome voice message) are pre-recorded audio files that form part of the same content library; they are not generated in real time in response to a user's input. As user conversations are private and not publicly accessible, the Company does not perform routine manual monitoring of all user interactions. Instead, the Platform utilizes a multi-layered content monitoring framework designed to minimize harmful or prohibited content.
3.2 Multi-Layered Monitoring Framework
The monitoring framework includes the following tools, systems, and processes:
Automated Content Safety Controls
Automated content safety controls are integrated into the AI response pipeline. These controls detect and prevent prohibited categories of content before responses are delivered to users. All user inputs and AI-generated outputs are processed through automated classifiers that screen for prohibited content in real time, including requests involving minors, non-consensual content, bestiality or incest, hate speech, and other content prohibited under Section 4.3 of the Terms of Service. Requests triggering these filters are blocked before processing or delivery.
Policy-Based Filtering Mechanisms
Policy-based filtering mechanisms restrict content that violates the Company’s Terms of Service. These filters operate at the model configuration level and are updated regularly to reflect changes in applicable law, payment network requirements, and Company policy.
Continuous System-Level Monitoring
Continuous system-level monitoring of safety events, policy violations, and abnormal usage patterns is maintained. Monitoring data is reviewed periodically by authorized compliance personnel to identify systemic risks, unusual patterns, or emerging categories of misuse.
User Reporting Functionality
Users may report any AI response, image, video or other content received in a chat that they consider inappropriate, harmful, misleading, abusive, illegal, or otherwise non-compliant by using the “Report” function available for each message in the chat interface. When submitting a report, the user selects a reason (Inappropriate content, Harassment or abuse, Spam or misleading, or Other) and may provide additional details. Reports are routed directly to the Company’s moderation team.
The account dashboard does not currently provide a function for submitting reports or complaints. Reports concerning content outside a chat (such as AI persona profiles or Scenes), as well as all other complaints, must be submitted by email to support@soul-meet.io.
All user reports are reviewed within 5 business days of receipt. Reports concerning suspected content involving minors or non-consensual content are prioritised.
Manual Compliance Review
Manual compliance review of escalated reports and flagged incidents is conducted by authorized moderation personnel where necessary. Access to conversation content by moderation staff is limited to authorized personnel and is subject to strict confidentiality obligations.
4. Enforcement Actions
Where a potential violation is identified through automated controls, user reports, or internal reviews, the Company may investigate the matter and take appropriate action. Enforcement measures may include:
Content restriction or removal, including removal of the relevant item from the content library;
Account limitations or suspension;
Permanent account termination;
Referral to law enforcement authorities where required by applicable law.
The severity of the enforcement action is determined by the nature and gravity of the violation.
5. Record-Keeping and Audit
The Company maintains records of reported incidents and moderation actions for compliance and audit purposes. Records are retained in accordance with applicable data retention requirements and the Company’s Privacy Policy.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
Content monitoring activities are conducted in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy (available at soul-meet.io/docs/privacy-policy) and applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where monitoring involves the processing of personal data, appropriate legal bases are established and data minimisation principles are applied.
7. Policy Updates
This Policy is reviewed and updated periodically to reflect changes in the law, payment network requirements, or the Company’s operational practices. Material changes will be communicated to users via the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
